TheJabsco 31700-0092 is a Polypropylene HotShot HD4 series Marine Washdown Pump, rated up to 4 GPM, 60 PSI shutoff, with standard size Snap-In Port fittings, and 1/2 inch Straight Hosebarb fittings, coupled to a 12 Volt DC Motor, and is now replaced by the new version pump model # Q401J-118N-3A. This pump is now replaced by a new version updated and improved Jabsco washdown pump which now replaces all other washdown pump versions. The new version HD (Heavy Duty) model includes a slightly wider diameter motor with a powder coated shell, a co-molded diaphragm technology for long life and durability, cast aluminum endbells and lower housing to improve pressure capability and life. The Pumphead and upper housing material are Glass fiber reinforced polypropylene, with a co-molded TPV Diaphragm, and EPDM Check valves. This pump has an integrated, sealed pressure switch for on-demand operation, with a shut-off pressure of 60 PSI. The motor is a permanent magnet brushed type, with a TENV (Totally Enclosed non-Ventilated) enclosure, with ingress protection to IPX6, and has vibration dampening mounting feet. This pump has an efficient and quiet operation. A plastic housing protects the motor from corrosion. This pump has a Self-priming capability of 7 feet which allows for installation versatility, and the pump can run dry without damage. This pump provides exceptional performance in an economical footprint. The maximum fluid temperature range for this pump is 32 degrees F to 140 degrees F (0 degrees C to 60 degrees C). NOTE : The pump is not submersible. IMPORTANT : Do not use motor pump units for pumping gasoline or other flammable liquids.

The Jabsco 317000092 is a heavy duty marine washdown pump used for ondemand spray to clean anchors, buoys, fishing areas, etc. Typically the higher the flow and the higher the pressure the better. Sometimes used with a Y valve to serve a dual purpose of livewell circulation. Common accessories include strainers, trigger nozzles, hoses, and deck mount fittings. It is sometimes plumbed off of the livewell inlet to reduce number of thruhull fittings. This pump is designed for use with fresh water and salt water ONLY. Use with any other fluid could result in damage to the pump and the surrounding environment, possible exposure to hazardous substances and injury. This pump has an integrated pressure switch. When connected to power, it can start automatically without warning if the pressure switch senses pressure below that of switch shutoff. Mount the pump horizontally, or if vertically, with the pumphead facing down. The pump should be mounted to a solid surface above the waterline in a dry area with adequate ventilation.

An important step that will lead to the growing importance of privacy on an international level is about to take place this month. On February 8 2023, the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) will adopt ISO 31700 on privacy by design, a new worldwide privacy standard for consumer goods and services.

ISO 31700 features 30 high-level requirements and guidance on privacy by design principles. One of the key concepts covered in ISO 31700 is the privacy impact assessment (PIA). PIAs are a means of assessing the potential impact of a new product or service on privacy and of identifying and mitigating privacy risks before the product or service is launched. This proactive approach to privacy protection is designed to minimize the risk of harm to individuals and to ensure that privacy is protected throughout the lifecycle of the product or service.

Over the years after first published in 2009, privacy by design has been adopted by the Data Protection Authorities and the International Assembly of Privacy Commissioners and incorporated in the GDPR. This means that until now, only organisations who hold data of European residents need to comply with these rules. This will change from February 8 onwards, when ISO includes privacy by design in its standards and makes it an international privacy standard.

On January 31, 2023, the International Standards Organization (ISO), published a new standard, ISO 31700-1:2023, on Privacy by Design for consumer goods and services. Privacy by Design (PbD) was introduced as a concept back in 1995 by the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, Canada, with the goal that privacy should be integrated into products, services and systems by default.

This means integrating the consumer perspective and their behavioral engagement and needs early into the product lifecycle process and respecting it throughout. This promotes consistency on customer privacy decisions and by extension helps to demonstrate leadership commitment to PbD.

The PbD approach can be applied to broader information ecosystems that mix technologies and organizations. This holistic approach considers all stages of the product lifecycle and supports iterative approaches to product development, with enhancements deployed long after the initial design phase.

Ensure your consumers know that they can configure privacy settings according to their preferences. The standard also calls out how organizations need to be aware of their diverse consumer population. This means different age groups, tech literacy levels, and technology access all need to be considered and reflected in the product/service design as well as in related documentation and communications.

Apart from these PbD focused measures that the ISO standard mainly covers, it also touches on other requirements that are commonly covered as broader privacy compliance obligations, including vendor management, cybersecurity resilience design, and the communication of PII data breaches.

When addressing PbD, the standard not only mentions the possibility of severe consequences for an individual in the case of compromised personal data, but also the damage that the ensuing loss of trust will have on the organization.

OneTrust can help your organization embed PbD in its processes by consolidating information from internal and external stakeholders to provide a comprehensive view for how data is collected, the purpose for which its being used, where the data is located, the potential risks and what protections are in place. Users can assess, track and report on privacy risk across assets, vendors, processing activities for projects or products.

Deploy our Privacy by Design template into business tools like Jira so stakeholders can contribute technical and contextual information when its most relevant, with OneTrust PIA and DPIA Automation. With real-time analytics, you can show compliance with privacy regulations while demonstrating the value of your privacy program to relevant stakeholders.

Master the fundamentals of constructing robust compliance frameworks that can seamlessly integrate with organizational operations while aligning with regulatory and strategic mandates to deliver measurable insights on your progress and gaps.

The Baker Hughes CONSOLIDATED 31700 Safety valve has been designed specifically for Nuclear Service and incorporated in its design are many desired features and improvements developed from experience gained on Nuclear Power Plants. Every effort has been made to provide a design which can be readily serviced in the field and which as a high degree of reliability to meet the stringent needs of our Nuclear Power customers. CONSOLIDATED series 31700 steam safety valves are designed and certified under Section III of the ASME Code for application in Nuclear Power Systems.

The ever-escalation of privacy breaches, data misuse, data processing activities without user consent, and identity theft incidents have raised serious concerns among individuals and regulatory bodies alike, urging international bodies to introduce a regulatory framework.

According to IBM, the average cost of a data breach in the US alone is $9.44 million, and the global average cost of a data breach is $4.35 million. The repercussions for the individual may be severe if their Personal Identifiable Information (PII) has been compromised due to inadequate, out-of-date, or nonexistent privacy practices. Additionally, significant legal repercussions or reputational damage to the company providing the consumer goods could diminish consumers' trust in the digital product or service.

The document's key target audiences are the employees of organizations and other parties in charge of the concept, design, manufacture, management, testing, operation, service, maintenance, and disposal of consumer goods and services.

Privacy by Design refers to several methodologies for product, process, system, software and service development. It denotes that a product has built-in, consumer-focused privacy settings and controls that offer the right amount of privacy without unduly burdening the user.

Accurate privacy assertions, methodical privacy due diligence procedures, and more openness and accountability in designing and operating consumer goods that process PII are all becoming increasingly in demand. The objective is to encourage the use of the privacy-aware design on a larger scale, gain customer trust, and meet the demands of consumers for effective privacy and data security.

With privacy by design, the consumer's behavior with the product(s) and their privacy demands are taken into account from the beginning and all the way through the product's lifecycle process. Making decisions about customer privacy demands in this manner will make them more standardized and methodical, and they will turn into a functional necessity alongside the objectives of product design, business, and other stakeholders.
