When will Prudence 2.0 be released?

So, what's the delay?

There are two outstanding issues:

1) The decision to switch to Log4j 2 means that we should wait until it's officially released. It's currently at the release candidate stage, but still getting LOTS of bugfixes and activity. It's such a critical component that care is advised, so let's wait until it stabilizes.

2) There is a bizarre stack overflow bug happening with one of Three Crickets' clients. We have been unable to reproduce this bug, but it seems to occur when certain odd requests come in over the wild Internet. It may be a combination of certain components or code paths that cause this, because the bug does not occur on others sites open to the Internet running with the same stack. Especially, it's unclear if the bug is in Jetty, Restlet or Prudence. I want to make sure this issue is resolved before releasing 2.0.

That said, Prudence 2.0 has been feature-complete and stable for most deployments for a while, and you should be confident using it as a development platform.
