Dear PRSSA Chapter President,

Please remind your PRSSA members of the benefits of being a member, and make sure they are making the most of their experience. One of the greatest benefits of being a member of PRSSA is attending National events such as the PRSSA 2017 National Conference.

The deadline for Conference has been extended to Sept. 15, so if your Chapter has not yet registered, please encourage them to do so by this date. National Conference can greatly add to their personal and professional development.

Below are just a few highlights regarding the Conference:

  1. The National Conference program is full of workshops and sessions to assist in learning more about the practice of public relations. You will do more than just listen to a lecture. You will learn how to apply specific skills and tactics to the actions of a communication professional.
  2. If you are unsure of what sector of public relations you want to work in after graduation, we have built a program to encompass a variety, from sports to fashion to government and nonprofit, and so much more. Attend and discover what most interests you.
  3. The Conference also offers a wealth of opportunity for networking, learning and making connections with potential employers at events such as the Career Development Exhibition.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact us at prs...@gmail.com. Also, if you still need a hotel room, please contact Jeneen Garcia, executive director, PRSSA, at (212) 460-1466.

We hope to see you and your Chapter members in Boston.

Thank you,

The 2017 National Conference Committee
