Hi Chapter Presidents,

Welcome to spring PRSSA recruitment season! As many of you know, the deadline for spring semester dues is March 1. That means we have just over a month to spread the word about what great things a PRSSA membership can offer, and ramp up our efforts.

A few ways to prepare for recruitment:

• Participate and tune in to the Facebook Live event on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 9 p.m. EST. I (Allyson Berry) will be talking about member benefits and why people choose to join PRSSA, and the reasons why they stay. This is a great opportunity to get ideas for your recruitment strategy.
• Check out the PRSSA recruitment video for testimonials. You may choose to show this video in your initial informational meeting.
• Find out what other Chapters in your area are doing. Contact your Regional Ambassador to connect with people in your region.
• Review the list of member benefits for talking points when you’re pitching PRSSA to potential members.
• Email me! I’m more than happy to help you come up with a strategy for recruitment directly related to your school type, size and identity.
