How to upgrade PRS-505 from PRSP_505_2.0.18 to PRSP_505_2.1.01alpha?

I have a Sony Reader PRS-505 with PRSP_505_2.0.18 installed. I did this installation of PRSP_505_2.0.18 from internal memory, by just copying the 'PRSPInstaller' directory.

Now I want to install the newer PRSP_505_2.1.01alpha instead.

How can I do this?
Is it okay to just delete the previous 'PRSPInstaller' directory, copy the new directory from PRSP_505_2.1.01alpha onto internal memory? Or do I need to do something different?

Hi Anton,

Exactly the same way you installed 2.0.18, just delete the old PRSPInstaller directory.

After installation is done, you can remove the folder.

Important: before deleting/copying the folder, please restart your reader and connect it to the PC/Mac while it is booting.
