Congratulations for your work sir. I wonder if it'll work for an old but lovely PRS-350, I'm interested in exporting the highlighted text to a PDF (rather that nude isolated rtf file that we all make with the Library Reader).

Cheers!
Domingo

The bad news is that it won't work on the PRS-350 right now.

The good news is that if you know (or are willing to learn) a bit of
Python, it might be easy to fix.

The -T1 and -T2 store the information about annotations in a database.
From what I've gathered online, the earlier models store the same
sort of information in XML files.  (I don't have an earlier model to
test.)  Therefore, I separated the database-specific code into its own
module, prst1.py.  My hope is that all you'd have to do to get the
-350 working would be to write another version of this code that reads
in info out of those XML files.  This probably won't be only 40 lines
long, like the existing code, but I'd hope it's no more than a few
hundred.  (Of course, this is assuming that the same information is
being stored in both cases.  If this isn't the case, more work would
be needed.)

If you feel like attacking this, let me know and I can write some more
detailed instructions.  Or just dive in and let me know when you have
a question.  If this isn't your cup of tea but you can find the
relevant XML files on your reader, you can send them to me and I'll
give it a go.  But I can't promise any timescale on that.
