Abiel,
Thanks for your email.
The consultation usually involves listening to your group`s idea and working
with you through the steps that need to be taken in order to develop and
execute a really good, authentic pub. The conversation will probably include
discussion of location types, design styles & costs, sources of finance,
business plans & financial estimates, operational management issues,
development timelines and Diageo Guinness`s endorsement of the concept etc.
The discussion should leave you feeling stronger about the direction you are
taking and put some solid structure around what your group should be doing
next to make progress.
Pleas et me know if you would like to do this, and if so, what day and time
would be suitable for you in the next week.
Thanks,
Donal.

Hello Daan,
I want to introduce you to Donal Ballance (in copy), as I mentioned you before in the emails we exchanged Donald represents Diageo for The Irish Pub Concept as a consulting partner. After our first meeting we thought it should be best if we started conversations with you to see the feasibility of Diageo's involvement in our business plan.
Best Regards,
Abiel Rodríguez

Abiel,
Thanks to you, Claudio and José Miguel for the presentation and discussion.
Now that the first challenge (supply of Guinness) seems to be resolved by
Daan Dekroon, it certainly makes your project far more feasible. I suppose
the next step is to look at options for financing and a way of explaining
your project clearly, so I've attached some examples of what this might look
like. Whatever way you go on this…investors, banks etc. you will be seeking
to explain why the Irish Pub Concept is a unique casual--dining and drinking
experience in the DR and what will set it apart from its competitors.
However, before we think about getting a business plan together, I think
putting some thought into the following items would be worthwhile:
· the likely capital cost of a pub build-out (you will need a
design/build company who specialize in Irish Pubs www.olirishpubs.com,
www.barnone.ca and www.ggdglobal.com are examples of companies you might
use)
· The type of location you want for the pub and the likely rent or
mortgage cost.
· How is it going to be operated, who is going to operate it, what
is the role for you three guys in the business.
· The operating costs of an Irish Pub in Santo Domingo….wage cost,
food cost, beverage cost etc.
I respect of our last discussion, I am happy to discuss these topics with
you as part of the initial consultation. If we get to business plans and
financial estimates we can discuss cost at that time.

Hello,
My name is Abiel Rodriguez and I'm part of a group working on a business plan to build an Irish Pub here in Santo Domingo, the capital city of Dominican Republic. We are trying to calculate the likely capital cost of a pub build-out and Donal Ballance from Ballance Hospitality told us that maybe you can be of some assistance.
Hope to hear from you soon.
