Dear Friends and Patrons of Proyash,

We hope you're doing well and staying safe.

We’re writing to warmly invite you to Proyash’s Annual General Body Meeting on Saturday, June 7th at 7:30 PM IST. As someone who has stood by our mission and shared our belief in the power of education, your presence would mean a lot to us.

What’s on the agenda:

• A look back at the work we’ve done together over the past year

• Forming our new Executive Committee to take Proyash forward

Thanks to your continued support, Proyash has been able to help hundreds of bright young minds —  from underprivileged backgrounds — pursue higher education in fields like medicine, engineering, nursing, the arts, and sciences. We’ve also been able to identify and encourage high-potential students at the high school level through scholarships and mentoring.

This meeting is not just about updates and planning — it’s a chance for all of us to reconnect, reflect, and recommit to the cause that brought us together in the first place.

We had a really productive hybrid meeting on Saturday, 7th June, where we shared updates on last year’s activities - your contributions and the progress of our students.

I’m excited to share that a new committee has been formed to carry the torch forward and take Proyash to new heights. And here’s the best part: it’s an all-women committee led by Dr. Ananya Chakroborty!
