Switchy on OS X requires password for scutil

Anyone have a solution for this?

Every change seems to require entering a password. Other Mac users
I've asked do not see this problem. I'm running OS X 10.6.8.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've talked to other developers at work
that use Switchy and they say they don't have this issue. So, I'm
curious if this is just an issue with my configuration.
