Course Description
The Indiana Department of Agriculture requires that all pesticide applicators
must complete a course approved by the department. This course is developed to
meet that requirement and provide you with information about pesticide safety
and compliance with the Indiana Pesticide Law.
The purpose of the course is:
to provide an understanding of the laws governing pesticide use and handling;
to familiarize you with various types of pesticides; and
to help you understand the hazards associated with pesticides and ways to
minimize those hazards.
