Kansas Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Practice Course
About the Service:
In Kansas, the EMR
license is a state-issued certification that allows you to practice as a basic
life support (BLS) provider in the prehospital setting. The EMR course is a
nationally recognized training program used by emergency medical technicians
(EMTs), paramedics and other prehospital providers. The certification must be
renewed every 2 years by completing 24 hours of continuing education credits.
The Kansas Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Practice Course is a self-paced
online course that provides you with an introduction to the fundamentals of
emergency care. You will learn about the anatomy and physiology of the human
body, as well as how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies such
as cardiac arrest, respiratory distress and shock.
