The Florida Physical Therapist Assistant Practice course is a 120-hour course that meets the requirements of the Board of Certification of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for the national certification examination.

 

The Florida Physical Therapist Assistant Practice course is taught by certified physical therapist assistants and physical therapists who provide you with the knowledge, skills and abilities you need to successfully complete your entry-level training requirements. You will also receive hands-on clinical experience in a variety of settings including acute care, subacute care, rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient clinics and home health care settings.

 

The Florida Physical Therapist Assistant Practice course is designed to prepare students for entry into the profession as a licensed physical therapist assistant (LPA). The program focuses on the clinical application of knowledge gained through didactic instruction and supervised clinical experience.
