sorry i need this, I love it, but I want to emphasize that the original dream would not be like that, it would have a different attitude and I would like it to be seen in this little comic strip that I have made.

I have done it very fast, so forgive the ugly drawing.

and if you can, next time use my tag, @jokublog, please

please continue drawing!

Here it is, the ever famous Dreamtale, the origin of two of our main characters, Dream and Nightmare. Dreamtale is an AU created by jokublog on Tumblr and YouTube. While published on March 6, 2016, it has gotten a revamp comic in early 2017 and now has an animation in progress for its continuation.

Please note that the information we've cited has come from dedicated fans and translation of joku's work. Anything not in the basic information is of our interpretation and only canon to Sagaverse. Dreamtale and its characters belong to joku.

After 494 years, Neil returns to Dreamtale with plenty of gear in tow to retrieve Dream's statue. Mowing down corrupted villager one after another, he soon drags Dream away from the worst negativity and towards his old home. His statue cracks and loosens back to normal as positivity from the nearby universes reaches his apple once again. Disoriented, Dream sat up and found himself hugged by his old friend. After a tearful reunion, Neil explained what had happened over the years and that Lanny was waiting for them in Mystictale.

Devastated at the destruction of the forest, the village, and especially the Tree of Feelings, Dream joined the cat monster to be trained by Lanny. Over time, he would often come back to euthanize the remaining zombies, clean up the remaining structures, and set up as best a memorial as he could to his old home. Being specially coded, the Tree couldn't be restored by any conventional means any longer. Now, DreamTale was nothing more than a memorial to the past and the ruins of what was.

As the guardian of positivity after Nim, he was optimistic, compassionate, and eager to explore much of Dreamtale's landscape and help in the village itself. While overworked by the villagers' requests, he dearly loved his brother Nightmare and his father figure Neil and spent plenty of time with them.

He is a cat monster who was exiled from the village for blaming them for a fire and the loss of his home and family as a result. Fatherly, warm, and at times gruff, Neil initially pushed away Dream's efforts to help him rebuild his house in his grief. Over time though, he grew to love the guardian like his own son and spent years training in Mystictale to rescue Dream. After being offered a place in the OT by Core, Neil now works to ensure the Timeline is well-provided for and protected.

As guardian of negativity, Nightmare was more introspective and serious compared to his energetic twin. Playing the older brother, he often read stories and shared his insights with Dream in the evenings they had together. Sadly, the villagers abused him as their scapegoat for protecting the black apples of the Tree, and eventually he consumed them at a prompting from a man's spirit. He was then subsumed and had disappeared since.

From Nightmare's broken shell and being, the man's spirit has now taken over it with a new personality entirely. Ruthless and relentless, he will stop at nothing to make the entire multiverse miserable and to kill Dream for the last apple to be a god. His very presence is able to shake the souls of those near him with the horror it impresses on them. In his hatred, he petrified Dream, killed the Tree, and corrupted the villagers in his first attempt to get the apple.

As the original guardian of emotions, Nim's life was directly tied to the Tree of Feelings. Though an empath, she was distrustful of mortals for their alleged greed and selfishness. Her spirit fused with the Tree itself and made Dream and Nightmare due to being maimed by a mortal.
