Only Syncs One Way

I am running a dual boot machine (Windows and Linux). My Lightning
calendar is stored in iCal format in a folder that is accessible to
both operating systems. It is therefore stored as a network calendar.

I have loaded Provider so that I can sync my Lightning calendar with
my Google calendar. This only works in one direction (on the Linux
machine). So when I make an entry into the Google calendar it appears
very quickly in Lightning. However, the Lightning entries never appear
in the Google calendar.

How do I fix this?

After some more testing I more confused than ever!

When I am in Lightning, I appear to have two calendars, my personal
calendar and my Google calendar. The boxes next to both of these are
checked.

If I highlight my personal calendar and make an entry, it does not
show up in my gCal. If I highlight my gCal and make an entry, it shows
up in both my personal calendar and my gCal.

So here is my confusion, I expect that when I update my personal
calendar, that entry should show in my gCal and it does not.

This might sound stupid, but heh I made the similar mistake. :)

When you say the entry shows up in both personal calendar and gCal,
did you keep the checkbox checked on both calendars?

Thanks

When I enter something on the calendar inside Thunderbird Lightning,
it does not appear on Google Calendar. But if I enter something on
Google Calendar, it does get sync to Lightning.
