Meetings/Calendar Items added to TB don't sync to Google

It has always worked on items items added to the Google calendars but not the other direction.  So if someone sends me a meeting invite through TB, I accept it, it is now on the TB/Lightning Calendar but it will not push to Google?  Any suggestions on what I'm missing.
