I started having a problem today where provider complains that cookies are disabled in my browser.
Text of the error:

"You've reached this page because we have detected that cookies are disabled in your browser. The page you attempted to load cannot display properly if cookies are disabled.
Please enable cookies and retry the operation or go back in your browser."

I have tried:
- Disable all ad blockers in Chrome and Firefox browser
- Made sure cookies are enabled in both browsers
- Reinstalled Provider several times
- Rolled back to an earlier version of Provider

Any advice?

Hi Mke,

(sorry for my poor english)

I've had the same problem and have solve it :
 - go to 'tools' / 'option' / 'Private' and check "accept cookies" - Allways

Quit Thunderbird and run it
Enter your mail & password, check calendar and validate.

Try this ... it'was working for me
(TB 52.1.0 - Lightining 5.4.1 - Google Provider 3.3)

Thank you! That worked. I don't know why that option was switched off, I have never changed it.

I had the same setting in mine and the original provider install (I think) had added an exception for  cookies for google.com
The exception cookie seems to need to be changed to accounts.google.com

Yup I had the same Thunderbird issue and Franck, thank you.. your answer helped me solve it. For me (on a Mac)  the solution was in Preferences-->Privacy-->Accept cookies from sites.

All the best

Kevin
