Have you any plans to make this add-on compatible with Postbox 5?  I've been using Google Calendar directly since Postbox 3  but it would be nice to access the calendar via my email client.

Hi Diana,

I don't know if you've noticed - like me you probably had an older lightning.xpi file from Postbox 3 - but Postbox Inc are no longer supporting Calendaring in PB5 - according to them lightning is not in active development any more, so they have removed it from their list of add-ons, and the FAQ now reads as:

Does Postbox include a calendar?
  • Not at this time, as we're solely focused on providing you with the very best email experience possible.

So, I reckon that getting the Google Calendar provider supported in PB5 will become more difficult because of this.

I've tried to use several (older) versions of lightning and modifying the install.rdf file in the .xpi file as outlined on the PB Add-ons page, but to no avail. I didn't get as far as doing the same for this provider.

Darren.

Bummer.  I guess I'll just try to access Google Calendar directly.   Thank you for trying to modify the *.rdf file, it was worth a shot.

Hi,
i have no Problems at all using Provider 1.0.4 and Lightning 1.0 with Postbox 5.x (i just copied the extensions-Folder from my previous Postbox Version - actually from another Computer who was still running Postbox 3.x ...)
It should still be possible to use Provider directly frome here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1106047
I just can't remeber from where i downloaded the Lightning extension and i don't have the install-File  (maybe someone still has the file and can post it here?)
best
Marty
