SMS Alerts with google cal

Hello, I was just wondering if there is a way to set a SMS alarm to an
event vie sunbird. Explain: I'd like to create events on sunbird, and
with google provider they are syncd with gooogle cal, but if I want to
receive a SMS alert I have to go on google cal and set it up. I'd like
to set automatically from sunbird the SMS alert...is it possible or I
have to do something? I'd do everything!!! I use Sunbird 0.9 and
google provider google cal 0.5.1!

I want the exactly same thing,
acutally when the event is updated - it is updated with only popup
option. This may be the limitation of lightning as well. Is it
possible to give an extra option sepcially for syncing or updating the
google calendar

See the sticky post in this group. This is a very experimental feature
that requires massive changes to lightning. I'm having trouble getting
those changes in, especially since there are still some open issues.
Note that the version of lightning in the sticky post is older
(0.9pre!)
