Tasks API released - Provider update work is in progress

Hello Folks,
as many of you have already noticed, the Tasks API has been released.
Unfortunately its quite a bit different as the calendar api and has
different limitations on API calls made. If I release the API to all
users of the provider, then even on the first day the limit will be
reached. I can request a larger volume, so that isn't the main
problem.
As the project leader for Lightning, I need to take care of release
work for the current release, and also I'm in the middle of my exams
phase for my university. As you may agree, those are really things
that need attention, so I must take care of them first.
Nevertheless, I'll see if I can get a new version out as fast as
possible. Stay tuned!

an update on this, there is a new version that supports tasks available in this bug:

If you would like to try it out, be sure to read at least the important comments. Check the Status Whiteboard of that bug for a link to the right comment to get started.
