Categories not working in 0.6b1 + Lightning 1.0b1 Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit

Hi everybody,
I just installed the Provider for Google Calendar but is seems that,
in spite of the recent changes announced for vers. 0.6b1, categories
are not working on my calendar.
If I set a category for a new appointment in my google calendar via
TB, it is not saved. I click on the ok button but the category remains
unset. The strange thing is that for the appointments that I imported
from another (local) calendar categories are set.
Any suggestions?
