Thunderbird updated to 68.2.0 and Provide of Google Calendar was update too.

When I start Thunderbird I get a pop-up asking me to log into my Google account and allow the app to access and modify my Google calendar. I enter the info and and everything seems to go find but still cannot add/synchronize info to my Google Calendar.

Same here. Fresh install of TB, Lightning and google provider. I Can log in to Google, but I don't see any calendars. I just see en empty "please select the calendars you want to subscribe to" window.

The TB error log shows:

Lightning: [calGoogleSession] Authentication failure: undefined
[Exception... "null"  nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)"  location: "JS frame :: resource://gdata-provider/modules/gdataSession.jsm :: login/authFailed< :: line 284"  data: no] gdataSession.jsm:284:33

Kevin sorted it earlier today

changed TB 68.2 config setting "general.useragent.compatMode.firefox" to true, now everything (Google caldav, Provider for Google and gmail mail account) works again and Google credentials are kept over TB restart.

Sent from my phone.

Did this, and did sign up with Google one-off, but don't see my calendars in the left column, can't enter anything, or create new calendar.

After I placed the instruction "general. useragent. compatMode. Firefox" to true, It did not work yet.
But.... I shut TB off and started on without any add ons active (safe mode) shut down again and started back on. Everything is working properly now.
