Ithink you can block and then unblock to achieve that, but I would question whether that is a good idea. It probably only causes confusion, because the follower thinks there are technical problems which had them removed. They might even reach out to you to ask for clarification.
Interesting Topic: I have asked Smule for the Facility where when another Smule member a Total stranger follows me, I am given the Opportunity to check their profile listen to some of their recordings and decide if I want them to follow me.
So Many Ladies in India are being harassed by Morons and this would be a nice way for ladies to safe guard themselves. and also when an invite is sent out you want good singers to join you and not some idiot who does not know the language or the tune or the lyrics join and bray like a donkey and ruin your party
correct! just as I think and wish it should be, to be able to have control over who follows, there are also some who initially sound normal, but who want more than singing, there can be annoying people who constantly want to chat also have we the stalkers. did you get any answers from smule about your question?
I, too, have experienced this issue. My song was "Hurt" by Christina Aguilera, which is already on the Smule App. I even saw it in a lower key (being sung by someone else). All I did was to lower the key. I am wondering how other singers deal with this.
Perhaps change the Title of the song, as in Song Title, Artist then it often asks for Description, Try putting in the description , for eg, David Bowie Full Lyrics, instead of just David Bowie. Just a suggestion but worked for me
Interesting, so there has been some work done in the past to prohibit at least some copyrighted content at the time of upload, but it isn't/wasn't resilient enough, as workarounds could be easily found by trial and error.
It's upsetting. Some of my favourite recordings have now been disabled due to this nonsense, and I'm unable to save them anywhere since Smule has now blocked my access to them. I've actually been trying to find a way around this (simply for the purpose of being able to download the recordings onto a local drive for my own enjoyment/posterity), so if anyone has any tips on such I am absolutely keen to hear!
I've personally never heard of things getting taken down, but usually a lot of the songs credit whoever originally sung the song, who did the instrumentals etc. They don't seem to have been taken down for as long as I've been on Smule.
If they're songs that have already been uploaded by Smule, and there isn't too big of a difference, it's natural for them to take it down. Lesser known songs (or songs that smule probably does not own a license to) don't seem to have this problem, since Smule has not uploaded the songs themselves.
As I tend to listen to Japanese songs, I know that there are many ppl who leave their instrumentals for others to use somewhere if not the description - this is probably due to the 'utaite' (and I guess partially the 'vocaloid') community that has formed tho.
Often when I join invites from friends the first attempt I score 3000 to 5000 and that is an indication to sing again and improve so I sing again and the score jumps anywhere between 20,000 to 30000. Rarely about 30K and that must be the limit of my vocal capacity in the full spectrum
That's what I figured it was for. I average around 5000 and have never gotten above 10000 since I've been on smule. I will say the songs I cannot crack 1000 on, I rarely rejoin. Nighjt8owl, worry more about having fun than the score. The more we sing, the better our scores should eventually be. We might not ever get to _RamKrish1012 scores but we should improve overtime.
The scoring in Smule is a bit arbitrary and not based on hitting correct notes a la Singstar on Playstation or other Karaoke Apps. I think the developers felt they had to entice people to sing more by putting this in as a 'feature' but, as one comment pointed out, it doesn't matter if you sing out of tune or if you blow a Vuvuzela down the mic for the whole song, the score will be more or less the same.
If you want a REALLY high score, try this out: Sing the song (until the end), don't save it but press the return arrow to go back and sing it again. Repeat as many times as you want and you will get a mammoth score to show off to your friends.
Indeed, the same way "you and them sounded great together", even though you actually recited Mein Kampf through a foghorn for three minutes. Singing is not about scores or competition, and this feature is just smule's sarcastic affirmation of that, I'd like to think ?
You may not be able to do that well in the 1st go, but when you repeatedly go back & sing the same lyrics trying to hit the correct notes, to get the vocal run / pitch / tone right, the score obviously improves in proportion to how much better you do.
Ok, so I'm not a great singer or anything like that but the Smule app doesn't seem to work. When you record, the app doesn't pick up your voice through the mic. Then when the recording is finished, it won't play.
Awesome, glad I could be of assistance. If you should ever need further help with this or any other issues with your Samsung Galaxy device, feel free to post on the forums and we would be happy to help to our best abilities.
So I thought I would record on smule without the headphones and mic, and it is really terrible, the static is louder than the music and people singing. Did I buy a dud phone? Why did I give my galaxy note 9 away for this
My observation is that upload time depends on the time of the day we sing. Living in Sydney I find if I sing late at night say after 10.00 pm the songs get uploaded straight away. If I sing during the day especially on week ends the uploads are in a queue for hours and this I believe is because every one from the northern hemisphere esp USA is singing away and uploading hundreds if not thousands of songs every minute. Smule is definitely over loaded which results in slowing down the upload process. Once my uploads took nearly 30 hours to get processed. My niece uploaded a duet and for over six hours it was saying Optimising..
Internet itself is on OVERLOAD as in any household many members are streaming or playing computer games using WiFi and connectivity itself is a big problem. So I wait until 10.00pm and start smule after every one has gone to sleep in Sydney. But India being 5 -1/2 hours behind all the singing starts and by 7.00pm IST Smule is so overloaded that I just cannot save my recordings. They just Bomb and the irritating message is check your internet connection as smule does not want to accept that the software is buckling under overload. WE just have to grin and bear it folks
Now that block system of Smule became worse, because the person who is stalking , forming a group against us, sending people for make our OCs a totally mess, can block you first and you cannot block the person anymore. they are using this new system where they block us, and we don't have any way to block then too, Smule needs to take care about this, if the person block us they can unblock us any time, but we cannot block , then the bullies, haters are in control now. they block us like we are the bullies, stalkers smule give to us the right to block then, i don't wanna see nothing about these crazy people, just want block them too. this way I can sing with nice people, since i don't have to many people to sing because there are ppl that believes what exactly the stalker is saying . Smule if they can block us, sometimes they are the true stalkers and still, because I cant block.
If there is anyone mess with you, just screenshot them all then report to smule. Remember don't fight back. Just keep the screenshot and report it to smule. Smule will take care of it. Smule will freeze their accounts for you. I did this so many times already and smule always help me to freeze them. Trust me it works ?
