There's a Scarface easter egg in the form of a bloody bathroom and a chainsaw weapon. Go to the Pay N' Spray at Ocean beach, then go south and take the first left. On your left, you'll see a two-story apartment with two sets of stairs on the second floor.
In order to find the infamous Easter Egg secret, make your way to the northern area of the west island of Vice City and look for the 8-10 VCN (News) Building -- the news building is by the northern bridge entrance on the west island. To access the roof of the building, enter the building from the door at the ground floor and you'll find yourself on the roof.
Not only will you find a flashy news chopper but you'll also gain access to a rather strange Easter Egg. When reaching the roof, look for the large cream-colored building nearby and locate the window closest to the Heliport -- it'll have its lights turned on.
With a running start, sprint towards the edge and attempt to jump into the window -- it sounds weird, but trust us. Warping straight through the wall, you'll find yourself inside a small room that's essentially empty, apart from a literal Easter Egg that's found sitting on top of a stand in the middle of the room.
Just slightly northeast of Lasslo's office, you'll find a man beneath the water that has been drowned due to having concreted feet -- this is known as a typical mafia-style killing. While you may be able to catch a glimpse of the body from land, you'll have a much better chance at seeing this Easter Egg when using a boat (or a car with cheats activated).
Get a boat... and go between The "Leaf Links" Golf club and the third island. Go up to the rock and stop your boat get the sniper rifle in the cheat and look down on the rocks you will see a man in boxers with concrete on his feet.
Continuing with the Rockstar logo theme, you'll also find Rockstar logos along the walls of a large drain way in Little Haiti, as well as large billboards not too from the nearby Weapon and Tool store.
When exploring Starfish Island, head to the first house on the right when crossing the bridge from the west island and you'll find an empty pool in the backyard that has a beach ball inside it. When you run into the beach ball, it'll begin to bounce. If you bounce it on your head, numbers will begin to appear. Need a tip for keeping the ball up in the air? You'll want to always be in the shadow of the ball.
After you've completed the Malibu mission The Job, you can rob El Banco Corrupto Grande for some easy money. Simply walk in and turn right up the stairs -- which will earn you a four-star wanted level.
Now, continue following the path and walk into the manager's office to grab one-third of the cash. You can find the remaining cash inside the room with the elevator, towards the right side of the room. Once you've collected all the cash, jump off the balcony and you'll be free from the building. To shake the cops, you can turn left to the nearby Pay N' Spray. While it may not be a whole ton of cash, it's easy money that doesn't take too much time to get.
If you pick up the regular shotgun at your hideout (from starfish island) and then go out and find the Spas or Benelli Shotgun in the city, your 50 shells from the regular shotgun will be transferred to the new upgraded gun you picked up. If you were to pick up the upgraded shotgun without doing this you would only receive 20 or so shells but this way you get approximately 70. This trick works with other guns also that share similar bullets.
Here is a way to enter the golf course without having your weapons get confiscated. First, take the Comet nearby and drive it next to the fence. Get out and jump onto the car. Jump onto the fence, and then jump onto the second fence at a diagonal angle and drop down past it. You will make it into the golf course with all your weapons. This trick can be useful for the "Four Iron" mission.
This trick worked in GTA III as well. Simply drive up to a hooker and pick her up. Once she's inside your car, drive to a quiet spot and let the magic happen. The car will start rocking, and your "health" will grow from 100 to 125. While the extra boost of health will come in handy, it won't be cheap though, so make sure you have some spare cash around. Do note, this health boost only works until the next time you die.
Remember the nothing to see here sign on VCS for the PSP? Do you also remember that also the VCN easter egg was gone? Well on the PS2 version, there is a new sign and the construction of the easter egg!
I love Rockstar. They think of everything. Also, why the hell does no-one in the entire GTA community have a damn capture card? It's really disappointing. I hate seeing all these photos of TV's. I'll take some good quality screen caps tomorrow with my card, when I actually get the game.
EDIT: Might post this tomorrow since I sense a slow news week coming. Just wondering, are the 10 easter eggs from the PSP version all the same, and this is an added 11th one? Or are there even more with the 10 PSP ones in different locations?
Ah ok. Well, I'm gonna pin this topic. Once we've found them all we can put them all in the first post or something. Unless we find that some are the same... Keep us updated anyway, as I myself aren't going to have a lot of time to play through the game. What I will do is capture some good quality pics of each one though. I am going to set it up now and capture the easter egg pic.
EDIT: Here it is, I'm not too impressed with the quality it's captured at though, I'll try and get a better one, it's because the room the egg is in is so damn bright so it looks over-exposed. The problem is my card can only capture at 320x240, so this is upscaled, and so looks rubbish.
I just checked Easter Egg #6 which is at the stadium, it's exactly the same. With this in mind I've come to the conclusion that the easter eggs are the same as in the PSP version, but with a few additional ones.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is an impressive enough game on its own. Your appreciation of it will deepen when you realize it was made in only nine months. It is shocking how Rockstar Games not only managed to make a fully functioning open-world title in this time window, but also managed to pack it full of detail.
You'd think no one on the team would have had the time to put any of these small easter eggs into Vice City, but they did it nonetheless. Vice City's narrative is more open than the other two titles in the PS2 trilogy, so you might happen upon these by accident while journeying through the campaign.
There are hidden F-bombs in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, however. Go to Phil's place in the junkyard and inside the trailers you can see several posters using the world. Nobody says it out loud, but you are more than free to read it.
Go to the northwest part of the map to find the Vice City news building. There is a window you can jump through there and inside you will find the closest thing to a literal easter egg you can find in a video game.
You frequent the Malibu Club during the Vice City storyline. You can even buy it as an asset and use the club to plan an elaborate bank robbery. You could do all this and completely miss the performers on stage in the club.
They are all dressed up in various service jobs like a police officer and a construction worker. This is an obvious nod to the Village People, a popular group from the 1970s and 1980s. Curiously, the group does not have a single song on the soundtrack. It is safe to say the performers in the Malibu Club are similar to, but legally distinct from, the Village People.
Go to the North Point Mall on the northern part of the first island. Off the coast of this shopping center, you can see a submarine underneath the water. There are no pilotable underwater vehicles in Vice City - such a mechanic would not come to be until Grand Theft Auto 5.
One of the portraits on the wall is none other than Frank Sinatra. The singer was legendary for his alleged ties to organized crime, something which was not uncommon in the popular music scene of the era.
Stand in a certain spot and then aim the RPG at the wall. The camera will clip through the wall and you will see the photo. The 1980s vibe is partly defined by the Cold War, so this easter egg is appropriate.
Apartment 3C is located on the south end of the first island. There is a room here with a chainsaw and a pool of blood. This is a reference to a famous scene from Scarface, one of the most iconic films of the 1980s. The movie, which stars Al Pacino, is an obvious influence on Vice City.
