No Detecta El Cable Hdmi

I installed clean installation of a new version Libreelec 9.95.2 ( Libreelec 10 matrix) on SD card for RPI-4 4GB. Previous version works without any problem. HDMI ports detect automaticaly. But now when I try to connect same equipment RPI-4 with new SW 9.95.2 during boot up process sometimes connect to hdmi and works, but sometimes not. I use for connection HDMI-0 (close to power source connector). After some different setup in config file i realized that works (not works) not properly. But when I tried later to connect my cable to HDMI-1 ( more distant from power source connector ) HDMI detection works without any problem. I think it must be any error inside Libreelec program for RPI-4 and automatic detection is not work correctly. Or there is any mistake and who programed SW maybe did mistake and switched priority for HDMI. Normally it must be the first HDMI 0 and the second HDMI 1. But in this case helped me set to config file hdmi_force_hotplug:0=1 . After this setting disapeared any problem with detection. I think is not normal and as i wrote before there is any problem inside software.
And my second problem (question) is if i start rpi-4 with TV off a TV is On automaticaly, but not connect RPI-4 with TV. Only TV switch from live tv to right HDMI port, but nothing more. No picture or something and after while only stay black screen with label in left corner libreelec 9.95.2 and stop booting nothing happend. In this case i have to always restart RPI-4. I used RPI-4 for together with powerboard from shop msldigital.com.
Before I ran the getedid create LE 9.95.2 took forever to show anything on the screen. Sometimes I waited 15 minutes or more and then suddenly Kodi appeared but most of the time there was no signal to TV from hdmi-0. LE was running just fine as I could access it via ssh normally.
After upgrading from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04, I noticed that pulseaudio would no longer detect HDMI audio output (plugged to an nVidia graphics card) when turning my TV on after I logged in. HDMI output is just not listed anymore in sound settings.This used to work in 18.04.
This is an old question, so maybe you have already solved your problem. But in case you have not or in case others are running into this issue and not finding solutions which work for them (as was the case with me recently), here is another thing one can try.
This is mostly taken from the suggestion here, but slightly expanded/modified. It seems PulseAudio has a bug which can cause it to fail to automatically detect hdmi audio outputs ("sinks" in its language), so you can fix things by manually telling it about your hdmi device.
If your hdmi audio does not show up in your list, then we may have found the problem, so keep reading. If you are not sure if it does or not, you can also run pactl list sinks grep description for more human-readable descriptions of the devices detected. I think hdmi sinks will have a description of the form "blah High Definition Audio Controller" while non-hdmi sinks might have a description like "blah blah blah Speaker + Headphone".
where [card],[device] refers to the numbers from the output of aplay -l, e.g. I'd first use hw:0,3. You'll do this for every hdmi hardware device listed previously until one of them actually produces an audible sound.
You should now be able to go to your sound settings and see a new selectable output device (Mine's called TU116 High Definition Audio Controller). Select it and see if your hdmi audio works now. If not, I can't help you. But if it does, congrats.
In response to the last bullet point above, I recently wrote a bash script that will automatically carry out the steps described here. You can find it on github. Compared to the script in the referenced link, the one I wrote (tries to) make fewer assumptions about the machine it is being run on; in particular, it does not assume PulseAudio has already (manually) been configured to detect your hdmi cable. If this has not happened, it runs the process described above, and then switches your audio to hdmi.
(on my machine, I saved the script in /usr/local/bin/hdmi.sh). After creating this file, run udevadm control --reload-rules. Once you've done this, you should just be able to plug in an hdmi cable and have things work. When you unplug the cable, audio should switch back to your computer.
This is resolved by the app, pavucontrol 5.0, which enables users to choose and lock the output device. Unfortunately, the app is distro specfic, so Ubunutu users must wait for Canonical to add the app to the repositories.
I need help. I recently bought a Samsung Smart TV and the TV cannot detect the signal from the Z7 + 5g box Formuler. I have already made a factory resert to the tv, I have already changed the hdmi cables, I have already made a factory resert to the box and the problem continues. Can someone tell me what it might be?
Hello, CBP ADM what happens is strange, because the box signal turns green and the tv does not detect the box signal for tv. but on another LG smart tv I can see what's in the box. I already did resert to the box, to the tv and it continues the same. Now I'm going to try changing the hdmi cables to an 18gb one and let's see what happens.
Hello CA, thanks for the help / tip. I already did that and I still don't see an image. But this time the TV detects that something is connected to the HDMI output but I don't see an image. I have the box settings in auto mode, I don't know if it's the best. I still think it's a bug in the box, some bad update that is causing the image to not show on some devices. in any case thanks for the help you gave me.

Mi PS4 lleva dos das sin funcionar. Lo he probado con tres cables HDMI diferentes y dos televisores, pero sin resultado. El "modo seguro" no aparece, sin embargo mi televisor reconoce que est conectado a la Playstation. Tengo sonido a travs de mis auriculares cuando est conectado al controlador. El indicador luminoso muestra que la PS4 ha arrancado correctamente (primero una luz azul, luego una luz blanca).
A mi me pasa que dejo de funcionar el ps4 en mi Tv y en la Tv me apareci un cartel que dice modo seguro y ahora no reconoce mas la ps, prob con otros cables y tampoco . Prob en otras Tv con esos mismos cables y si anda, pero justo en esa Tv no. Si alguien sabe explicarme porque lo agradezco
A mi me paso lo mismo, en una tele dejo de andar la ps4 y hasta la ps3 que tenia. En otras teles andan bien. Pero conecto otras cosas con HDMI y funcionan en la tele que no andan. Consiguieron alguna solucin?
Yo conecte mi ps4 a un monitor con un adaptador de hdmi a dvi, la pantalla se conecta y aparece la lucecita del monitor en verde y se ve luz pero no da video pero mi monitor si detecta pc con windows alguien sabe por que?
Prueba primero el siguiente procedimiento: Conecta el cable HDMI y enciende el televisor, pero no la PS4. A continuacin, mantn pulsado el botn de encendido durante al menos 7 segundos hasta que el sistema emita dos pitidos.
En otra televisin la PS4 me iba perfectamente por lo que descart problema de la propia consola y deduje que sera de la televisin. Prob a apagar todo, quitar todos los dispositivos, esperar 20 minutos, el modo seguro, conectar todo en un orden concreto, etc. Y nada funcion.
Cmo en la otra televisin s funcionaba, me met al modo seguro (con la ps4 apagada, mantienes el botn de encendido hasta que pite por segunda vez). En el modo normal, no me permita actualizar el software, pero en el modo seguro s. Tambin cambi la resolucin a automtica por si acaso. Volv a conectar todo y ya funcion.
La segunda y tambin reparable, es problema con. El controlador del HDMI, el cul hace que la imagen pueda llegar al rango deseado, cabe recalcar que para saber q es una de las 2 opciones, la luz debe estar blanca y no azul.
