Manipulated by Mohana, Karan falsely believed that Divya had turned his wife, Maansi, and their child, Krish, into stone statues. Driven by vengeance, Karan sought the Rathods' help to rescue his family, concealing the fact that Piya and Aditya would turn to stone. Piya, however, remained skeptical of Karan, knowing Divya would never harm the innocent. Eventually, Nishant and Ansh unraveled Karan's true motives, but they couldn't save Piya and Aditya. With his magical wings, Karan incapacitated Ansh. It was then revealed that Maansi was a Daayan under Mohana's control, sent to obtain Karan's wings.
