Faraz Syed talks to Dr. Waheed Siddiqee who was a young teenager during the 1947 independence of Pakistan. He asks Dr. Siddiqee about the feelings of Muslims of Hyderabad Dekkan in particular and Muslims of India in general prior to and at the time of independence. Dr. Siddiqee talks about how Hyderabad state also declared independence from India in 1947 and how he felt at that time. Later the Indian state reclaimed the state back.
