Ittakes my half an hour to download, I started at midnight, and tried trice.

Sorry is I am very brief and on point here. I need help, and sleep.

So, I just dump this here, and hope someone can help me with troubleshooting suggestions by tomorrow.

Although the installer deletes the downloaded files when it cancels, I managed to make a copy of the downloaded files this last time. I hope that will save some time with troubleshooting or maybe manual installation, that half hour wait is a pain.

Also, I happend to have dvds of the original game, and the expansion pack.

I installed them in a seperate directory using wine. This install does not seem to run correctly, if the GOG complete edition proves a lost cause, could it be possible to make the version from the dvds work?

Update 2:

Reinstalling Lutris seems to have had some effect. The game is installed.

When starting Lutris after re-install, I got the option to install the game from the ui itself.

I used this option rather than getting the install url from the lutris website. I do not know if this was a factor.

The game seems to run, at least as far as to the main menu.

If the game runs as expected, I will update the title of this thread as solved.

I just acquired a jtag xbox360 slim about 1 month ago, done a lot of self searching for the "how to" and "what to do" information regards jtag-world, and are able to manage things so far. I have successfully switch from FSD to Aurora, and able to have the basics work including LiNK.

Recently tried to install the "LA NOIRE" complete edition game that consist 4 discs of ISO files. As usual I read there are few methods for individual multi-dics games. So I tried the below following method,

But after playing the game till a stage I believe is suppose to swap disc, the tv screen just turn blank/black and remain there. It will simply hang like that until I need to hard-reset the console. This some how tells me that it is unable to 'auto swap' to disc 2 if I am correct. Because when I manually using file manager to navigate to disc 2 content and the starts the default.xex file directly, it is able to load the new game play.

Enabling the swap feature in dashlaunch or using the swap.xex plugin for dashlaunch will also mess with the FSD Plugins feature (which for the record cannot be disabled, we'll probably add that when we make NOVA)

I'm going to be installing Acrobat XI Pro from disk for the first time. From the research I've done, I believe I will be asked to choose Typical, Complete, or Custom installation. I'm a bit of an Acrobat rookie, and am unsure the best route to go. Without knowing what all is included on the disk for a Complete installation or what would be included in a Typical installation, it is hard to know which to choose. I'm assuming going with Custom would let me choose various components to install but, again, not knowing what all my options are makes that a difficult choice! Hard drive space is not an issue, so I'm tempted to go with a Complete installation. That said, if a Complete installation is going to load 16G (making that number up!) of language packs I'll never use, I may forgo that option! I've also read that updates cause the Acrobat file size to grow, so again, updating a bunch of stuff I'll never use also seems unwise. Any advice or guidance on the different installation options would be much appreciated.

The install program, like many, provides the user with the ability to select some optional features. The "Typical" version is just the basic program and the features most would ask for. Complete will install all optional features, and Custom will let you select the additional features beyond the bare minimum.

My searches for answers leads to some suggestions, but they offer no support. I'm seeing suggestions such as "if you have space, just install the complete version", "install with custom and pick your own flavors", "most people just use typical", etc.

So went to reinstall my complete edition and It's struggling.

Always stops at 58% when installing required game data then proceeds with error reading disc.

Anyone else running into this problem?

Well I have online trophies done, but there are a few trophies from the DLC's which are online... So I just want to clarify, most of the Complete Editions have all the DLC on disc to install, what does the VIP pass include? How to buy it at the moment if its not in the PS Store?

@FoxRDT You need either brand new Complete Edition (more expensive than buying used PS4 in my country) or used Complete Edition and brand new Dirt 3 copy (same price as buying used PS3). Yeah, I'm gonna pass on that as well.

I'm not sure if it's still possible to buy the Vip pass from the ingame store, it wasn't delisted at the same time as it was delisted from the actual psn store, or was it on Dirt Showdown? Still, it's been a long time since I last played this, so, it may have been deleted later, but I would need to double check to be sure.

I used 2/14 days free PS Plus trial on one of my alt accounts to download Dirt 3 when it was for free and I did online trophies. Fast forward 2 years later my console died so I have no recollection of the account data = no VIP trial. I'd even by 30 days PS Plus just to get these 4 fucking DLC trophies xd.

The sealed games with the voucher are the only possible way (I know that when I boosted this, someone got 1 of those, and even if the expiration date already had passed, the code still worked, but that was over an years ago, can't guarantee that it still works).

It sounds like either the store or the previous owner may have switched the disc out for the vanilla version so it isn't the Complete Edition at all . The DLCs should be hardcoded into the game itself but if they aren't, is there any reference to a code that should have been included in the case?

Did you buy it new or second-hand? If it's second-hand, either the store or the previous owner may have switched the disc out for the vanilla version so it isn't the Complete Edition at all . The DLCs should be hardcoded into the game itself but if they aren't, is there any reference to a code that should have been included in the case?

Keep in mind that this game had two versions of the complete edition, one with dlcs on disc and another with a code for dlcs. So whenever you buy pre-owned make sure you get the one that has complete edition written on the disc.

Since the Express version does not include the Profiler, I installed SQL Server 2008-R2 Developer side-by-side with Express. The installation went perfectly and I had no problem adding my databases to the full Server installation.

I ran into this and had the hardest time getting the Management Tools - Complete to install. I finally got it working by running the upgrade. Even though it was already Enterprise edition with nothing obvious to upgrade I went through the update wizard. After that I was able to do the install of the complete tools.

Uninstalling SQL Server Express appears to have done no harm to my system; I was able to modify the Server Explorer data connection in VS2010 to connect to my database in the full version of SQL Explorer.

Have you used the Origin Client "Repair" option? If so, and it hasn't helped. in this instance, go ahead an manually navigate to the nVIDIA driver download website, and locate any relatively new driver and choose the Clean Install, follow through on it, then test the game again. It would seem you may have corruption somewhere.

try running the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode? Run as Administrator too? if you want to push it, try installing any and all games outside of Program Files to avoid any Windows UAC battles? since i mod a lot of games, putting games outside of Program Files, the default folder install (we create a new one simple called GAMES off c:\) simplifies a lot of troubleshooting.... the CTRL-ALT-DEL makes me think windows is involved someway somehow.

i have about 2% of my game loads do this where they hang on the boot, I ALT-F4 and reboot and it always comes up... this could be an issue communicating to the EA servers but since you haven't cleared the first screen it wont show the warning... all of this is questions to the questions...
