CanI upload projects that were developed in Studio in a different version of Orchestrator to Orchestrator? For example, say that my Studio project is at version 23.10.0 and Orchetrator is at a lower or higher version

You can update projects as long as the studio and activities version is lower than the orchestrator version, since if it is a larger version you will have problems when carrying out executions like the following:

Studio One version 6 sets a new standard for end-to-end music creation software with enhanced drag-and-drop workflows, new quick-start Smart Templates, powerful, fully integrated immersive audio tools, and integrated direct distribution through TuneCore.

Even-band parametric equalizer for precise, granular sound control. Phase-linear low-cut, variable high-cut, low-frequency, and high-frequency multimode filters included, plus solo and dynamics on every band.

The ultimate channel strip for any input or bus, with a variable high-pass filter, gate/expander, compressor, EQ, and limiter. Get classic StudioLive compressor and EQ modules plus State-Space Modeled compressors and EQs re-created from vintage gear.

Thicken guitar, vocal, or synth parts with lush, modulating textures. Choose one-, two-, or three-voice chorus processing and set an optional LFO delay time modulation, as well as a Stereo Width control.

This fully variable downward or upward expander with range control and a sidechain reduces the levels of unwanted noise or bleed from other sources in the desired signal or restores dynamic range to a compressed signal.

Mixtool provides common track utilities to correct for phase cancellation and correlation issues as well as adding volume trim options anywhere in the signal chain and independent from the main channel fader.

This Studio One exclusive makes using analog processors as easy as adding a plug-in. Pipeline XT manages the signal flow to and from the external processor and can measure and compensate for latency automatically.

Run your audio through up to three stages of tubes, transistor, op-amps, and fuzz to add just a little noise or pure distorted delight. An internal filter provides even more control over the distortion color, from rich and fuzzy to ear-piercing noise.

New for version 6.6, and available exclusively as a Studio One+ add-on, Lead Architect combines post-processed synthesis and sampling, integrated audio and effects, and an intuitive new user interface to generate powerful leads and sizzling solo sounds for hybrid melodic sequencing.

Trigger Sound Variations by simply placing their musical symbols onto the Score View. Sound Variations make it easy to manage and control articulations in complex virtual instruments and orchestral libraries.

Upload your music directly to TuneCore without leaving Studio One through an in-app integration that connects directly to your TuneCore account. And for a limited time, all Studio One+ subscribers can get 50% off select TuneCore plans.

Work on multiple reels of a feature film or an entire YouTube video in one session, with no limit on the number of video clips. Set the correct offset just by dragging the clip to the desired time position.

Studio One remains one of the most successful software applications on the market in terms of ergonomics and for this reason, we strongly recommend it to those who want an all-terrain, complete software.

Hi,

A little suggestion for future versions of Sketchup Studio.

Enscape & Chaos Vray recently merge.

It will be great to have at least the possibility to be able to choose the rendering software we want to use.

Even if vray is the best quality, it takes much more time to learn and render compare to Enscape very easy to use, as Sketchup.

What do you think about ?

Thanks

I installed the latest update (via the patcher) a few days ago and am seeing a repetitive issue, wherein if you touch any programme on your desktop that is not Studio, then Studio gets caught and hangs forever until you force it quit. Maybe it recovers the files you were working on at time of next load, maybe it doesn't. Either way, it's extremely frustrating to load the same project 20 times per hour (and some work lost along the way), and my preferred approach would be to re-install the older version without the bug, and turn off the patching tool until the bug is resolved in some future version.

2. On Windows the starting dialog which asks if you like to update can be canceled with "no" and you can work with the installed (and outdated version). Don't know if it applies to the Mac Studio version too..

3. Go to Bricklink and navigate to their Forums for Studio ( ) and read through the (very long) list of already known / filed bugs (Bugs and Suggestions Index) and if you wouldn't find, feel free to create a new one (How to report a bug). Generally SylvainLS is the mod there and keeps track of user posts etc.

Also before every switch of versions I would recommend to do a final Backup of the old and put it aside, just in case you accidentally save some changes to the .io file and corrupts it (I think the cases are rare, but for huge models with plenty of efforts put in already I personally would really do regular backups into new .io files). Another recommendation: Save the files with a date-prefix in their filename, this makes sorting easy, for e.g. "2022-11-23_my-awesome-MOC.io" (for sorting reasons I would go with YYYY-MM-DD instead of YYYY-DD-MM).

After that I made some changes to the chatbot, published it again and published new version of the bot to MS Teams. However as per image below, new version of the bot has the same version number as the current one and that's not acceptable for the Teams, at least in my case. In Teams admin center there's an error stating that "This update needs a new app version number. ..."

But, if the data name/icon/description have been changed, it is necessary to reinstall the app in Teams and manually change the version. I went through this once and could only change the version by manually editing the installation package, as shown before ?

Thank you @natalia for your quick reply. I was aware of this but I'm not installing the bot manually. I just publish it through Channels/MS Teams/Availability options/Show to everyone in my org/Submit for admin approval.
