check my new Data Visualization

I have created a new Protovis data visualization that I (and a friend
of mine) have submitted to the WorldBank Apps for Development
Competition. You can see it here: http://www.janwillemtulp.com/worldbank
Two things that could definitely be improved (hopefully):
- in Google Chrome in Windows the dots have blue lines around them,
even though I set .lineWidth(0). In other browsers this works fine,
but not in Chrome in Windows. Any ideas?
- performance of the mouseover event is really slow when viewing all
countries. There are near 10.000 data points visible at that time. I
wonder if performance could be improved with so many data points. With
less data everything works fine...

If the mouseOver labels had a background, I think they would be easier to read.

For the chrome issue, try setting the width to 0.001 or something

@Lorin, the labels do have a background, it's white, and somewhat
transparent. We had been testing various options for label
backgrounds, and this is what we decided on. But I guess it could be
better! :)
@Jamie, there is a loading image showing next to the title of the page
when the data is loading, but I think it should be placed closer to
the data itself. Especially if you scroll down, you don't see the
loading animation anymore. So good point!
@Pedro, thanks for the suggestion! Is this a bug in Protovis though?
