Hi everyone,

I put together a simple tutorial for beginners who are trying to work with IE. I cover three options, Modernizr, Chrome Frame and SVGweb. I would like to do a more detailed how to for svg web when I get time. But I would love to get some feedback before I promote it.

I also made a Protovis cheat sheet for a workshop we put on last month. Feedback there would be great as well.

Thanks,

Len

Len,

Nice work, the tutorial on IE is very clear and helpful. The options flow very well from easiest solution to hardest.  I particularly like the way you qualify the SVGweb option. Jamie Love has done an incredible amount of work from what I can tell, but it is truly not for the faint of heart.

The cheat sheet also a great job, but pages 4 & 5 might be more than most folks need or will use, you might make them a second file for the for the hard core.

Bob

Great work there, man! Specially like the cheat-sheet and if you make it
smaller would be even better :)

one suggestion for your cheatsheet: the commonly used Protovis code
section now orders classes alphabetically. It could also for instance
be grouped by subject, so that pv.Area, pv.Line, pv.Dot, etc. belong
to a group called Marks or something. What do you think?
