element.DispatchEvent is not a function

Hi ,

I am getting a problem , i have added a js function on onchange event
of a drop-down box , which calls Ajax.Updater , now whenever i call
this function i get an error

"element.DispatchEvent is not a function" in error console . please
help

Hi vaibhav,

applying DOM0 event is supported by prototype, so that should not
break any code.
please give us the code in problem so we could dig further inside your
trouble.
