Hi

This is Raghu here and first of all I should appreciate the prototype
team for developing such great framework.

I have a question on making a AJAX call that is intercepted by
siteminder and web server. At some occassions I am getting a 302
status when making a AJAX call. Is this due to a timeout of the
browser session? Actually the our webserver timeout is 30 minutes.
Even before browser session expiration i am still getting 302 status
from web server occassionally when making AJAX calls.

Does anybody aware of this? If yes what is the solution for this.

I would really appreaciate for the help in resolving the issue.

Regards
Raghu

Hi Raghu,

the meaning of HTTP response 302 is:
"The HTTP response status code 302 Found is the most common way of
performing a redirection." (from wkipedia)

Try to look inside you server definition, nothing from AJAX.

At last the problem got resolved and the resolution was simple. I just
need to change the submission method to 'post' from 'get'. The 'get'
submission URL is not getting recognized by site minder and web server
occasionally not sure why :)
