Hello,

I used prototype.js 1.6.0.2 on a project of mine. But, I am having
problems using it on a https.

It says, this page contains both secure and non-secure items (prompt).

I waited for 1.6.0.3 and hoping it was fixed already, but
unfortunately the problem still exists.

This was the original bug report that was posted that relates to this
matter.

Any ideas?

Experience the same error on IE7 (other browsers works fine) together
with Lightbox2.

As this error shows on every page loads this is a show stopper for me.

"Image pop-ups"
http://rogavi.com/prize/129/ - ok
https://rogavi.com/prize/129/ - error msg

Hi,

Check out this thread on the old users discussion group:
http://groups.google.com/group/rubyonrails-spinoffs/browse_thread/thread/7daae29348b1c258/9bfe1c4d87bfc640

(Although I use Prototype 1.6 on a site with SSL and don't see any
errors with IE; looking at the options, I don't see a message I have
turned off that would account for that...)

If that's not it, just do double-check that you're not referencing
*anything* (scripts, stylesheets, etc.) using an http URL rather than
an https URL. My SSL site uses relative paths for everything (as most
do).

HTH,

i am sure that everything inside the https page needs to be https linked
.... including all images and all scripts

Thx TJ and Alex for the reply.

Your correct, everything need to be https linked and I believe it is,
within CSS, images, scripts and all other stuff.
When I remove the prototype.js script the error message disappear,
that's why I believe this is the source for the error.

My solution have been to move from Lightbox2 to Tickbox.

regards
Hakan
