Hello all!

As the excitement after the proto.in pune edition starts to subside,
there are a few very interesting events you can look forward to over
the next month to keep yourself engaged in the startup community.

1. TiE CON Excellence Awards

TiE Delhi's Flagship event TiECON is happening on the September 18th
and 19th. As a part of the event, they are having the entrepreneurship
excellence awards to benefit the startups at the event. The companies
must have a proven revenue model, less than 5 years in existence with
paying customers. The final 10 entrepreneurs will have the opportunity
to present to the large TiEcon audience. For more details please visit

The deadline for the nomination is August 22.

2.Discussion on "Startup Hiring" in Bangalore

pluGGd.in is conducting a 'Hiring strategy for startups' event (half-
day) in bangalore to address key issues such as drafting employee
agreements, ESOP vs. Salary distribution in india, recruiting smart
people in bootstrapped companies and so on.
