The Anti-racism journey for educators with students includes a kit of resources grounded in social and emotional learning (SEL) and curated by experts in the fields of equity and inclusion, restorative practices and education technology.

The course empowers educators to build the knowledge and capability needed to support equity and anti-racism work with students. It can be a first step toward establishing an inclusive, caring classroom where students and teachers feel safe having authentic conversations on social justice topics.

Learning Paths are collections of courses on a related topic. These can be filtered and searched, just like courses. After selecting a Learning Path, you can see the breakdown of courses that are included. For example, the screenshot below shows the outline of the Anti-racism journey for educators with students Learning Path.

Microsoft Educator Center is a place for teachers to explore self-paced courses and learning paths related to Microsoft products and classroom best practices. You'll learn skills related to meeting the needs of diverse learners, managing class workflow, and creating authentic assessments, as well as tips for using tools like Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Teams, Skype, and STEM on Station. You most likely won't have time to take all the courses, so plan ahead to determine which trainings might have the most impact on your students. Also, keep in mind that you might be able to gain professional development (PD) hours for the time you spend completing the trainings. Once you've finished some of the courses, check out the Microsoft EDU page to connect with other educators.

The Microsoft Education Center provides support for multimedia online experiences that enables educators to boost engagement and foster connection with their students as they pivot to remote teaching during this challenging Covid19 times. The following blog will provide an overview of my experience of the platform.

There are several learning pathways for educators: basic, intermediate and advanced. Each course on the intermediate pathway that I completed lasted from 30 mins to 1.5 hours (figure 4) so you can fit one course in during your lunchtime or break time. In conjunction to digital badges you are also rewarded with points for each course completed.

The Scobee Education Center at San Antonio College is dedicated to engaging our students and community in life-changing experiences that inspire the pathways to STEAM careers. The Center was established on the campus of San Antonio College in memory of the lives given by the seven crew members of the Space Shuttle Challenger/STS-51LL "Teacher in Space" mission. Our goal is to carry on the crew's educational mission, to spark youth interest and joy in science and engineering. The center is named after the Francis R. (Dick) Scobee family - Commander Scobee, his widow Dr. June Scobee Rodgers, and their children Kathie Scobee Fulgham and Maj. Gen. Richard W. Scobee.

Scobee Education Center resides on the San Antonio College campus. The best way to get here is to take the campus entrance located at San Pedro and W. Myrtle Street. There is a circular drive in front of the center that connects to campus parking garage #3 where free parking is available.

The center is not staffed for regular tours of the facility. Tours may be made to the public during special events, such as Educator Open House, Center Anniversary Events, and San Antonio College Community Events. Private group tours are associated with facility rentals and are subject to staff availability.

While the Scobee Education center opened in October of 2014, the original Challenger Learning Center of San Antonio (CLC SA) was opened in September of 2000 after a three-year effort by a group of San Antonians who wished to promote this unique science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education experience in response to businesses identifying a lack of employee candidates with the STEM and 21st-century skills needed to expand their companies. The Brooks Aerospace Foundation was formed to raise capital funds to renovate a building at the Brooks Air Force Base, which became Brooks City-on Base. During its operation, the original Challenger Learning Center served more than 65,000 students and 5,600 teachers in over 2,300 missions. More than 900 teachers were provided with specialized in-service training.

Come January 2020, The Bett Malaysia Application had to be filled! Because I had to meet the application deadlines, I decided to use Wakelet to collaborate with other educators attending the event. The leadership team was really helpful here. All the questions from the online form were copied and we started collaborating and contributing answers. Lo and Behold! The application was filled, thanks to the group collection.

I became confident curating on Wakelet. The next step was to help the educators at my school learn about Wakelet. There was no looking back! I requested for a video call and Mr. Teijas introduced Wakelet to 58 educators at my school!

The Bilingual Education Center was created to address the shortage of bilingual educators in the public elementary and secondary schools. We hope to close this gap by providing strategies for student success, building career pathways, and providing professional development for staff and faculty that address the challenges Mountain View students encounter in achieving career goals.
