A duplicate license may be requested when the current/renewed license is lost or destroyed. Before a duplicate license is generated, you will be required to attest that the license was either lost or destroyed. There is a $15.00 duplicate license fee for additional license print requests. Credit card payment is the only payment option available.
Students are not required to bring printers with them. Wireless printers will not connect to the KSC network due to security reasons. Printing is available and free to all KSC students on campus. Each student is allowed a printing quota each semester which can be expanded if necessary.
Printing release stations are available for students in the Student Center, Rhodes Hall lobby, Science Center lobby, Elliot Hall atrium and the TDS lobby. Students log into and choose a location to send the print job to and release it at that location.
You can send tax return files to Engagement or Document when you initiate a PDF print process, provided you have the proper user option settings. Document also accepts TIFF files. See the following topics for more information:

There are literally millions of typefaces out there, and thanks to endless creativity and instant communication, there are more being distributed every day. We strive to maintain as many typefaces as possible in our prepress equipment; but occasionally we encounter an uninstalled font, and our equipment may substitute the next closest one. This can affect line breaks, pagination, and other important elements of the finished product.
Below you'll find instructions for creating Portable Document Format (PDF) files, which give you the opportunity to upload or "embed" all the fonts and graphics you used into your document, eliminating any substitutions that may occur. We highly recommend doing so, especially if you use unusual or handmade typefaces in your document. If you cannot save the document as a PDF, please include your screen and printer fonts along with your final document file when sending us your project. so that we can install them prior to output. You may also outline your fonts; however, we cannot make text changes once this is done. If you are sending a Photoshop document, please be sure to rasterize all type prior to submitting the file to us.
Texas State University's Pantone colors are 504 (maroon) and 872 (metallic gold). Our Kodak Nextpress has a "5th" color that recreates metallic gold. Also, we are able to use our offset presses to print a true metallic gold. Please state that you want to true metallic gold in special instructions when creating an order. Of course, all of our business cards and stationery items are printed using true metallic gold.
We highly recommend saving your file as a PDF for output. The advantages of a PDF file are not just limited to our printers. PDF files offer the ability to overcome platform, software, version, font, and graphic incompatibilities by embedding all data into a single compressed file, allowing virtually any other computer user to see and print your file exactly as you created it.
Adobe Creative Suite has Acrobat included. Just "save as" and change the "format" drop-down bar to PDF from Illustrator or Photoshop. From InDesign, "export" as PDF and make sure the "Adobe PDF Preset" is at "High Quality Print" or "Press Quality." If your document bleeds, make sure and set the crop marks and bleeds info in this window. From MSOffice apps "save as" and change the "format" bar to PDF. The full version of Acrobat is available for Texas State staff at Information Technology's website.
Please follow these guidelines when sending us your digital files:
. Any document with graphics needs to have the original linked graphic file on the disk or embedded within the file. From InDesign this is easy - just "Package" your document (found under "file", then "package.)
. Include all screen fonts and printer fonts used in the document.
. Write the document name, department and software used on disk label.
. The job we are outputting and the fonts and graphics pertaining to that job should be the only documents on the disk!
. Make sure your colors are correct (spot color or process separations).
For the print collection, Common Deer works with area artists and graphic designers to create art that represents that amazing state park. Look for new releases throughout the year! In fall 2019, 7 parks and 7 artists were featured in the initial launch of the project. Help us celebrate the parks by tagging your posts of the collection with #vtparkscollection and @commondeer!
The Public Calendar Schedule option provides access to search, view and print case events scheduled in theCriminal Courts of Common PleasandMagisterial District Courts. This feature is useful to find when and where a case event will be heard without having to call or visit the courthouse.

The secure version provides additional search options, not available to the public, to find case scheduling information. The secure calendar schedule also lists all case participants and whether attendance at the case event is required. A secure login is required to access this service.

Printing, Copying and Scanning
The Libraries does not provide printing services to those without university AllCampus accounts. Printing is available at the FedEx Office store, across the street from the D. H. Hill Jr. Library, at 2712 Hillsborough Street.
If you can't see the Print and Cancel buttons, your monitor is set to a low screen resolution. Reader wasn't designed for low-resolution displays (the minimum recommended is 1024 x 768). However, you can work around this limitation. Do either of the following to print your document:
There could be a scenario when a printer actually supports duplex printing and this option does not appear in the Print dialog box. In such cases, open the printer properties to directly access this option from printer preferences.
You can print a large format document, such as a poster or banner, by splitting the page across multiple sheets of paper (called "tiling"). The Poster option calculates how many sheets of paper are needed. You can adjust the size of the original to best fit the paper and specify how much each "tile" overlaps. You can then piece together the tiles.
There are two acceptable voter registration applications that can be accessed online: the California Secretary of State's RegisterToVote.ca.gov and the National Mail Voter Registration Application. Some organizations host websites that encourage voter registration. Some of these websites collect data from people before redirecting them to RegisterToVote.ca.gov or the National Mail Voter Registration Application (this cannot be submitted online; you must print, sign, and mail it to your county elections office).
The entire state of the device is represented by a CloudDeviceState message. Devices of different types utilize different sections of this message. Multifunctional devices can use several or all of the defined sections. More sections are expected to be added in the future as Cloud Print expands the set of device types it supports.
The CDS format does not immediately lend itself to meaningful display of device state to users, so a "UI state" format is available to be returned by requesting "uiState" as an extra field. The protobuf definition of the format appears below.
Here's the CloudDeviceUiState message that would be produced from the same CDS by the /printer interface (for an English locale). This full form of CloudDeviceUiState is computed by cross-referencing the state items in the CDS with the physical units described in the CDD using the vendor ID.
The device-type agnostic portion of the state of a job on a cloud device is represented by a JobState message. The Type enumeration defines the basic set of states defined for the generic job life cycle. These state types are not specific to printer jobs, but may apply to jobs on any device type.
A single device can have multiple functions (e.g. printing and scanning), but a job on such a device is performed by only one function. Therefore, there is a top-level job state format for each supported device function.
Official Texas recreational hunting & fishing licenses, tags, permits and stamps are available at approximately 1,700 locations throughout the state in addition to TPWD offices and Texas State Parks. Retail locations include sporting goods stores, gun shops, department stores, discount stores, bait and tackle shops, grocery stores, and many other types of stores.
Not all items purchased online are fully digital licenses. If a license has a digital option, you will be asked to choose whether you want a Printed (Paper) or Digital license. If you choose a Printed (Paper) license that includes tags, or if the license you purchase is only available in Printed (Paper) format, you must use the paper license tags that will be sent in the mail on harvested animals that require tagging. Find more information on fully digital licenses here.
