Hi Leigh,

Just to let you know:
I created an image at Instageni Illinois
(https://www.instageni.illinois.edu/image_metadata.php?uuid=cda8da3f-42ff-11e4-9608-000000000000
, I think slice

urn:publicid:IDN+ch.geni.net:fed4firetest3+slice+r6 ) and it seems that I did not receive an email saying the cloning was finished.
The image works however as I have used it already at Northwestern.

If I do the same at our protogeni, I still receive the email, so I think the certificate still contains the right info to send the email.
(I also do get the emails about expiring slivers from the Illinois rack)

I have not tried recently the image creation at other racks to verify if the emails still come through.

So, what I see in the log is. I don’t know all that much about
sendmail though ...

I don't see it too from that snippet, but maybe you can compare with an
expire email that I received:

Date: Tue, 23 Sep 2014 04:47:42 -0500 (CDT)
Message-Id: <201409230947....@boss.instageni.illinois.edu>
From: Geni Operations <testb...@ops.instageni.illinois.edu>

But if it works for others, don't bother too much of course.
