Hello Victor,

it looks like a very interesting approach. However, I couldn't figure out where the documentation is for the functions and methods supported by protocoder.

This link does only contain some very general information:
https://github.com/victordiaz/protocoder/wiki/User-Documentation

So, how to figure out what commands can be used, or is the documentation part of the apk and can be viewed through the browser interface.

Sorry to ask this basic question, but at a first glance this is not clear to me.
best regards
Schnee

Hello!

The documentation is still a bit scarce, shame on me.... :P Its a must have and will be worked out sooner than later.
For the time being, just can check the right bar on the browser interface or just check the functions directly in the Protocoder github repository.

All the the methods that have the @ProtocoderScript annotation are exposed to Javascript.

How do you think a documentation for this would make better sense?

Cheers

am i right in thinking that the api directory you meant has moved to
https://github.com/victordiaz/protocoder/tree/master/protocoder/protocoder_apprunner/src/main/java/org/protocoderrunner/apprunner/api

and could you clarify the status of the various protocoder communication channels… There's
- this forum
- the github repository
- the google group
- the webpage

are all of these still active? and are you planning to continue developing protocoder?

Hello!

Yes! Protocoder development is really active! In fact I just released the 0.97pre version (and next week 0.97). Check the website to download it :)
It has a better API reference than the previous versions but still has room for improvement.

Until now I've been working in a different branch than master, the reason is that I broke many parts in the app during this version development. Now everything looks more stable :)

I know the communication has been a bit scarce. It will start getting bigger soon.

I will add to your list this URL http://protocoder.org/wiki/ that I hope it will become a community based documentation pretty soon :)

Cheers!

Victor
