Inquiry about bzlmod support in Protobuf version 25.3

I am writing to inquire about the support for bzlmod in Protobuf version 25.3.

I have noticed that bzlmod support is available in versions 24.4 and earlier and in versions 26.0 and later by checking the Bazel Central Registry. However, I couldn't find any support for version 25.x. I would like to use bzlmod with version 25.3 due to specific dependencies in my project.

Could you please let us know if there are any plans to include bzlmod support in version 25.3 or if there is any ongoing work toward this feature? If there are no plans, could you provide some insights into why bzlmod support is not currently available in version 25.x? Are there any technical challenges or other considerations that have prevented its inclusion?
