mixed structured and unstructured data support

hi,

i know PB is meant to be used with structured data, but what if i have a mixture of structured and unstructured data?

For example, say i need to send images captured by a camera (unstructured), together with some metadata for those images, i.e resolution, image id etc. (structured).

is there a way to work with PB in that case? if not, what would be the alternatives?
