Dear all,
we are willing to reanalyze several rather big datasets published in PRIDE. Unfortunately, the regular FTP download option is painfully slow (i.e. expected time to download is about a week). Is there any way to speed up the process? Thank you for your suggestions.
Best regards,
Vladimir

I see that PRIDE supports Aspera protocol. If that's still true, it's likely to be a substantial speed-up over FTP. Many institutions have problems with Aspera transfers, though, since it frequently conflicts with the ports available for use in institutional firewalls.
