I have to display some custom mutations on a gene, so I entered them in mutation format (Number, position, class), in my case all mutations are class M. The problem is that the lollipops of my custom mutations are now shown under the annotated gene and not above. Is there a way to fix this?

Kind Regards
Tabea

Dear Colleague,

This how your variant amino acid looks when you
first enter in protein paint as in attached figure -1, in the same
figure -1, to the left there a box, which I higlighted in red
clicking on variant you can turn the lollipop to botum or collapse it
as in figure-2.
In figure-3 if you wish to transfer the lollipo to the top click and
transfer the box highlighted in red to the left (custom variant) to
the top this will transfer your variant. the trick is on custom
variant to the left actually you can move it up and down after adding
your variants bases .

Hopt that was helpful

Hi Tabea,

Tracks can be reorganized by clicking and dragging on the track label to the left. Go ahead and enter the custom mutations in the UI, click the 'Custom data' track label, and drag it above the gene track. Please reach out if you have any more questions.

Take care,
The ProteinPaint team
