Hi, I'm using Gene Fusion which is great.

However, when I tried to create a fusion, it shows another gene located at the same genomic position. The input gene is as below:
TIMP3,chr22,33198108,+
But the figure created shows SYN3, instead of TIMP3.
How could I change the gene used for the figure?

Best,
Louis

Hi Louis,

Thank you for reporting this bug. A code change was submitted today and the correct gene will display in production soon.

Thanks for using ProteinPaint.

Take care,
ProteinPaint Team

Dear ProteinPaint Team,

Thank you for the email. I saw the code has been updated several times recently.
However, the issue of another gene being annotated for the fusion still remains the same.
FYI, if we put in the following data:
TIMP3,chr22,33198108,+::MET,chr7,116339125,+
the produced figure, including the toggled chimeric view, doesn't show TIMP3 but SYN3, another gene located at the same locus but on the antisense strand.
It would be great if fixed.
Thank you in advance for your help and great product.

Best regards,
Louis
