We
are delighted to report that we've been receiving a continuous
stream of emails about events that are being held to celebrate
/ commemorate World Animal Day this year. If you have
already registered your event with us, we thank you most sincerely
for your support of the World Animal Day initiative.
If
you are doing something special for the animal for World Animal Day
and haven't yet told us about it, please do so now by replying to
this email. This is the information we need: your name,
organisation (if applicable), event details including when and where
it's being held, a contact email address for further
information and / or website address. The online
'Events Diary' provides free publicity for all World Animal Day
events. Your event can take place up to 2 weeks either side of
4 October and still be advertised on the website - as long as it's
being advertised as a World Animal Day event of course!
Our
aim is to connect everyone who cares about animals throughout the
world at this special time. Increased awareness of
animal-related issues cannot fail to eventually lead the way to
improved standards of animal welfare throughout the globe - and what
an achievement that will be!
