hmmm see that tells me I've signed up alrweady, and tells me to log
in... so I do, but get to google groups not to "groups 2" which is
where this group is...

argh you're still non-verified. I have an idea. what if you
unsubscribe and subscribe again. I'll make the google group open to
the public so you can easily join again.

I'm not sure if that will work but it's worth a try.

Will too my suggestion. He unsubscribed from the group and joined
again but had to email me so I could approve the subscription.

Then I checked that he is now VERIFIED. So that's what the rest of the
non-verified members can do.

Um, well the email addresses are obfuscated anyway to the public.

Only those that have joined and get the mailings actually receive the
email addresses.
