Recently, research has demonstrated that caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) can help fight prostate cancer. See:
http://cancerpreventionresearch.aacrjournals.org/content/5/5/788.longWhat is interesting is that CAPE even enhances the effectiveness of chemotherapy, with a noticeable increase in estrogen receptor-beta. See:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23847086What nobody has done yet, but what seems logical to me, is to block estradiol production using an aromatase inhibitor, then add both CAPE and estriol (which binds preferentially to estrogen receptor-beta). For men on androgen deprivation therapy an aromatase inhibitor may not be necessary.
