All the functions of GTA 3 games are not similar to this game. The godfather is an older PC game so many things are not like modern games. Controls of Vehicles is overall good. You can also roam in the world of godfather game, only a limited number of vehicles available but not enough like GTA 5, GTA 4 PC games.

if you are not completed all the missions, you cannot roam or move out from the mission area otherwise mission will get failed. You have to complete all the missions first, then you can roam everywhere in the city.
