It's time for NYC's annual Mulchfest. You can bring your holiday greens (minus the decorations) to Prospect Park this Sat. 1/9 and Sunday 1/10 between 10 AM and 2PM. The evergreen trees, wreaths, and garlands are being mulched at the Parkside Ave. entrance (by PPSW) and at the 3rd St. entrance (by PPW).
There are other drop off locations. You can go to the Prospect Park website for that info.
Prospect Farm takes this fragrant mulch and spreads it on our paths--like walking through a pine forest!!
