This weeks meeting canceled due to scheduling conflicts. There will be
a meeting tomorrow evening, Monday, at 7 pm at the Adams School. I
will be there presenting on the garden and talking about our plans.

     You did a great job with your presentation.   I don't think anyone can deny you your right to try this project out.   Your plan seemed great and I'm proud of all of you folks that stayed with the class and completed the task.   The only questions that are still in the air are:   Where is the money coming from for the fence and the raised beds?   Do you have enough volunteers lined up to work on setting up the gardens?   Setting up rain barrels off of the pavilion is going to take  a bit of doing so we will need volunteers for that too.

You have my complete support (although, I don't intend on lifting a shovel since I have too many other volunteer projects).

Hi Kurt,

Thanks so much!  I am working on the question of funding the fence and beds now. 
Yes, rounding up volunteers will be important.  I will do my best to tap all my resources, including talking to friends and neighbors, and sending requests via the email lists and Ypsi City.
People from Growing Hope, Rec community garden, and Transition Ypsi have also expressed interest in helping. Thanks again for your support.

Hey Jamie,   I'm not sure if I can make the meeting tonight, I'm kinda stranded @ home with no gas :) and if I walked out there, by the time the meeting was finished it would be the kids bedtime and the thought of them walking home the 4 miles from Adams in the dark after bedtime makes me feel like a sucky mommy!!! I will however lift a shovel for sure! Also, because of my fathers line of work I have alot of access to chunks of concrete, bricks, rocks and sometimes wood and fill dirt, so keep that in mind! :) Talk to you soon!
