Free Tickets Available – Opera Performances at FAR April 7 & 9

Bloomington Chamber Opera will perform the romantic comedy “The Elixir of Love” (in Italian) at 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 7 and Saturday, April 9 in Theater 505 at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts, located at 4^th & Rogers.  The country bumpkin Nemorino believes that a magic elixir (in reality, a bottle of old Bordeaux wine) will win the heart of Adina, whom he loves from afar.  Adina, a successful land owner, may be more interested in the dashing Army sergeant Belcore, but time and true love will tell.  You’ll hear rising young singers from the IU Jacobs School of Music perform with chamber orchestra, all within walking distance of home.
